Have You Ever Dreamed of Being A Sportscaster?
This fall, SFMSports.Net in conjunction with the Broadcast Institute of Maryland is offering aspiring sportscasters the opportunity to gain major exposure while working hands-on with several SFMSports.Net high school football games this season.
Starting September 3 through November 6, we'll be accepting entries in our Young Sportscasters Contest. Just send us a 2 minute sample of your best play by play work. You can call a game in person, from the TV or from the radio. Just send us your sample. Each week, we'll feature one qualifier during our BIM Half-Time Show. At the end of the season, we'll pick one qualifier to win the grand prize...the opportunity to call a quarter of action during the City vs Poly game on November 9 at M&T Bank Stadium. To enter, simply upload a 2 minute MP3 sample HERE.
